Special Applications
When the size, weight or characteristics of a load make conventional handling systems unsuitable, a dedicated solution may be required.
Robik special applications are designed to address complex and non-standard handling requirements, from moving coils and containers to industrial loads with specific operational constraints.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Handling 30-tonne coils requires careful evaluation of the load weight, support or trolley system, wheels, floor conditions, available manoeuvring space and route conditions. A radio-controlled electric mover allows the operator to control the load remotely and choose the position that provides the best visibility of the surrounding area during the manoeuvre.
For loads of this type, the solution must be specifically sized for the application, taking into account the force required for movement and the available traction.
Containers can be moved within industrial facilities using electric towing and pushing systems sized according to the load weight, floor conditions, gradients and handling frequency. When required, the handling system can be integrated with a solution for lifting the container from the ground, creating a coordinated lifting and transfer process.
